Covid wasn’t all bad...

Shortly after the first lockdown hit, Nick Proof didn’t have much in terms of work, wasn’t able to travel and had too much free time. DJ Sky Millz music offered to teach him how to DJ in their down time and thats how it began.
In 2020, Nick was able to hop on several livestreams, play a festival and DJ in several local iconic Calgary locations including a charity event at McMahon Stadium.
In January of 2021, Nick took up producing house music using Ableton Live. Navigating the steep learning curve, Nick is focusing on progressing and has managed to produce several tracks in different styles. His songs have been released on international labels such as Daxsen Records, Roller Blaster Records and uSound Records and featured on albums alongside major artists such as Paul Oakenfold which placed him in the top 3% of artists on Spotify in 2022.
Nick Proof has also organized, promoted and played multiple charity events with prestigious sponsors and events featured many well known local Calgary DJs.
Charities of choice have been the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary and Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids.
Nick Proof has a passion for future house, deep house, tech house and progressive house with occasional ventures into bass house, and EDM.
